Santos, Camila | 2020-...

Camila Andrade dos Santos | 2020-... holds a degree in Design (2008) and a master's degree in Design (2014) from the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA); a specialist in Environmental Education (2012) and a specialist in Teaching in Professional and Technological Education (2020) from the Federal Institute of Maranhão (IFMA). She is a PhD student in Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon. In her doctorate, she is a fellow of the Foundation for Research Support and Scientific and Technological Development of Maranhão - FAPEMA and develops research on the relationship between Design and the Right to the City from the perspective of children from the urban margins and their participation in the planning of playful public spaces and equipment. She is a collaborating researcher at the Centre for Research in Architecture, Urbanism and Design/CIAUD, through the groups Research and Education in Design/REDES and Grupo de Estudos Sócio-Territoriais e de Acção Local/GESTUAL. In Brazil, she is a professor at the Design Department of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Maranhão (IFMA), where she teaches in the technical courses of Furniture Design and Visual Communication and composes the Design and Innovation Centre (IFMA/PRPGI).
