Martins, Nuno | 2016-...

Nuno Martins | 2016-... graduated in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon (FAUL) in 1990; he completed a masters degree in Architecture (FAUL, 2011), a doctoral program in Urbanism at the Universidad Politecnica de Cataluña, (32 credits, UPC, Barcelona, 2004) and a Ph.D in Architecture at the University of Beira Interior, in Portugal, in 2012.
During his career as an architect he was awarded several prizes in architectural and urban design competitions, including the National Prize of Architecture of the MPAT (Ministry of Planning and Administration of Territory); several of his buildings, parks, urban spaces and also unbuilt projects, were published in technical magazines and were exhibited in Portugal, France, Brazil and Spain, including the Zaragoza World Expo, in 2008.
Since obtaining his PhD degree he has participated in many international conferences and published, as author, co-author and corresponding author, books (1), chapters of books (3), articles in journals (2, 1 indexed) and full papers in proceedings (5) in editions with international distribution and peer reviewing process, on his areas of interest: cultural landscapes, sustainable architecture and urban design in development.
