Biagi, Francesco | 2020-...

Francesco Biagi | 2020-... is PhD in political science (curriculum: history of sociological thought) and researcher in sociological theory at the GESTUAL (Group of Socio-Territorial, Urban and Local Action Studies) integrated in the CIAUD (the Research Centre in Architecture, Urbanism and Design) of the FAUL (Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon). He is interested in political and social theory and the role of the urban-rural relations in the historical transformations of capitalism. With this aim he has published the monograph: "Henri Lefebvre's Critical Theory of Space" (Palgrave Mcmillan, London 2021). He edited the Italian edition of two Lefebvres volumes: "Espace et politique. Le Droit à la ville II" and "La pensée marxiste et la ville".
