Arruda, Andréa | 2019-...

Andréa Arruda | 2019-... is architect and urban planner graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (PUCCAMP) in 2001. Master in urbanism from the Graduate Program of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo (FAU-USP), in 2007, with defense of the dissertation "The conceived space and the lived space of the rural home: public policies x peasant way of life". PhD in Urbanism from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon (FA-UL), in 2016, defending the thesis "The consolidation of an urban and architectural type of housing for the poor: old model, new peripheries in the urban space of Mato Grosso ", funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). Effective professor at the Department of Architecture and Urbanism at the State University of Mato Grosso (UNEMAT), between February 2006 and February 2008. Visiting professor at the Department of Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), between June 2006 and June 2008. Effective professor in the same Department at UFMT since 2013 and deputy coordinator and researcher of the Regional Urban Planning Studies Research and Extension Group - EPURA, where a research and practices of local and regional level are being developed under the theme of Housing Policy, Land Regularization and Technical Assistance for Housing of Social Interest (ATHIS). Member of the Socio-territorial, Urban and Local Action Study Group (GESTUAL-CIAUD) of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon (FA-UL) since 2019, collaborating with the "Africa Habitat Project, of habitat sustainability to the quality of living on the urban margins of Luanda and Maputo". Post doctorate from the same institution, where she is currently a researcher (FCT, Scientific employment 2023-2029).
